The Ham Lake area communities are home to several theater companies and public musical groups which stage plays and musical concerts. The theater departments at Anoka High School and Anoka-Ramsey Community College also stage annual performances. The arts are represented by several organizations including the Anoka County Arts Alliance, which publishes a directory of people and groups involved in the performing, visual and literary arts.
